And there’s a hand, my trusty fiere,
And gie’s a hand o’ thine!
And we’ll tak a right guid-willie waught
For auld lang syne.
2010 was a good year for us: full of good changes, positive growth and great people. We have much to look forward to, and much to remember with fondness. Thanks to everyone who helped make 2010 so wonderful.
And now to welcome in the New Year…

We had a magical time at The Hogfarm in Biddeford, ME on New Year’s Eve, sharing the stage with our friends (and original Brown Bird Members) Jeremy and Jerusha Robinson, of South China. Check them out if you haven’t already. They are two of the finest musicians and people we know.
We’ll be up in Vermont this Friday at Headroom Stages in Brattleboro, and aside from a quick jaunt to Syracuse later in the month (details to come), January will find us close to home, recording the new album, getting acquainted with our new label (!), and sipping hot toddies by the stoveside with our big orange cat.
We hope everyone is entering 2011 in good health and high spirits!
Take care,
-Brown Bird
